This contest was considered one of the greatest and highest scoring of all surfing history. It helped solidify the ASP "Dream Tour" and the importance of quality waves rather than quality crowds. Surfer magazine called Quicksilver's G-Land Java Pro "The greatest contest ever... More than a contest, more than a surf trip, the Quicksilver Pro redefined professional surfing."
10% of each sale will be donated to Save the Waves Coalition - an environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the coastal environment, with an emphasis on the surf zone, and educating the public about its value.
