This is a reworked version of the original line artwork for the Chinatown cover. It was used for press and promotional ads for the album and for t-shirts.
The line art was always useful for press and print advertising at a time when the media and music press was printed black and white with spot colour for red to highlight stuff. Usually a large photoprint was made by me in the darkroom at home and then details were added in pen and ink for effect.
These line works are an art form in themselves; remember it all had to be hand crafted -and drawing on a semi-gloss photoprint was a skill in itself back in the day. The beautiful end result made it all worthwhile.

A4 8.30”x 11.7” and A3 16.5″ x 11.69″ prints are open edition with a signed label on the print and are embossed as proof of authenticity.
A2: 23.4″x 16.5″ Prints are Signed Limited Editions of 295 and are embossed as proof of authenticity.
A1: 33.1″x 23.4″ Prints are Signed Limited Editions of 95 and are embossed as proof of authenticity. It can take up to 10 days from received payment to complete this order and ship 33”x23” prints.
The full canvas size is 40”x30” (100 x70 cm). Examples of Viva Ché and Fatalistic attitudes are in the pictures.
Canvas is mounted on a thick block wooden stretcher and canvas is wrapped around the sides and pinned on back.

Please note any damage to the canvas while in transit will be covered by insurance and will be replaced by myself, Jim FitzPatrick, the artist, without further cost.
