 This listing is for a nice gold metal mesh Art Deco Period handbag, c. 1920's-30's. The bag is decorated with four sapphire colored cabochon stones, two on the clasp and one hanging as a tassel on bottom of each side. The frame opens and closes freely and is complete with original chain. Whiting and Davis patented the woven metal process used in this style handbag and sold their mesh fabric to other manufacturers. Bag is unmarked.

Measures 6 1/4" long (not including closure or chain), 3 1/4" wide with chain having a 7" drop. Total length is 12 1/4".

This nice bag is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws.
