FPA0510S Introduction to Power Amplifiers
FPA0510S The Power Amplifier module is an optional accessory to FeelTech's FY Series of Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generators. Its full-power sine wave bandwidth of 50KHz, the maximum output power of 10W, output Slew Rate is greater than 10V/μs; it can be connected to the full range FY products to quickly build test platform, and also as a separate power amplifier for Other manufacturers signal source.
FPA0510S Series has the following performance characteristics

Gain of the Power amplifier can be set to (1x, 2x or 4x);

Interface description:
1. Power input port
Module provides two ways of power supply interface for users to choose, according to the actual application, users can select DC5.5-2.1 round plug power supply, or choose the standard 5.08mm plug power supply. Power input is single 12V, 1.25A DC power supply.
Power indicator: PWR red light indicates that the power supply is working properly.
2. Amplifier gain setting switch
Amplitude gain of the power amplifier can be set by toggling the coding switches (M1 and M2): Can be set to X1, X2 or X4.
3. Signal input
FPA0510S is connected to the signal source via a standard 5.08mm plug.
Operating Instructions:
Set the gain selector switch as desired, and connect the FPA0510S to the required power source, The power indicator lights up.
Use the signal cable to connect the required amplified signal from the signal generator to the FPA0510S signal input terminal (IN-, IN +), and connect the FPA0510S output terminal (OUT-, OUT +) with the signal cable to the user load.
