Jargar 4/4 Cello Strings have been a long time favorite for cellists who want a bright, full sound, with a quick response and a robust tone. All Jargar strings are crafted by hand in Copenhagen. These uniquely responsive cello strings were developed by cellist Jarl Hansen who wanted more from his cello than gut strings could provide. Jargar cello strings all feature a flexible steel core and are hand wound with thin threads of aluminum, copper, and different alloys and are available in dolce(thin), medium, and forte(thick) gauges. Individual G and C strings are also available with pure silver windings.
