Miniatures may be Lead or White metal, some parts may be plastic or resin. Items will be carefully and professionally packaged in bubble wrap and sent in a Jiffy bag. Metal miniatures are stripped (unless sold as New or Painted), so you can see exactly what you are getting. The picture shows the standard of the item that you will receive, likely not the actual one that you will receive. The picture may show a painted item so you can see what the figure can look like with time and effort. I try to get all items reconditioned back to what they were when originally sold. Any lead rot, it's binned. Damaged or poorly cast items are either binned, or if sold then they are clearly labelled as damaged, as people may want these for conversions. Books are sold as Reconditioned, if they are second hand, or New if they are mint.

Additional pictures may show the reverse of item but you only get one of what is shown in the main listing picture. If additional pictures show other items then they will be included. The listing may state "Dwarf 7 Dwarf Dwarves" this means that the original catalogue description was Dwarf 7 and the other descriptors are so people searching can find what they want. Please read full description for exactly what you will receive though, and please be aware that bases are usually not included unless shown in the picture. Item received may be darker than shown, as the camera flash can make the item look brighter.

Sorry, but I don't take offers on the price. Please don't contact me asking to buy items cheaper than shown, because if I start to, then I'll be inundated with different people E-Mailing me, which it's nice to chat, but I'd never get anything done. Not that I'm big business, it's just me in the back room. I do not sell fakes/copies. I wouldn't want to be ripped off myself, and wouldn't rip off others. I've been in contact with Games Workshop in the past, for their advice over this, I will report people who do, and will continue to do so. Fakes are theft. People who do so are stealing, and make peoples collections worthless. If you see it, report it.

COMBINED POSTAGE OFFERED: Please use the basket and then request the combined invoice that will save you money. If E-Bay won't let you request an invoice, use E-Bay.co.UK & not E-Bay.COM or other E-Bay sites. If unable to use the basket, commit to buy each item BUT DO NOT PAY, wait, and I'll send an invoice to you. Also some mobile device Apps don't allow it as they show less options on the page, if you use a PC, then it likely will. Postage price includes the protective packaging and combined postage savings usually notice at 3 items or more. Please only pay the discounted postage invoice. If unhappy with the postage cost, please contact me, prior to paying, to discuss. Higher value orders will be sent signed delivery, this may also be dependent on the country and buyer ratings. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING ANY BAD FEEDBACK. Items are sent out the same or the next day. Unfortunately I have no control over rare postal delays, please be mindful of this if leaving low star ratings. Thank you.

2011 Vampire Lord Dorian the Lost Undead Fantasy Football Team Player Impact NAF. Designed by Steve Buddle and painted by Cathy Wappel.

Of note, this is the 2nd casting version of this metal miniature. There was a slight quality issue with the initial castings of this item, although it was easily rectified. The earlier castings had a V cut / split in his right boot at the front. I contacted the manufacturer about this and he stated that this had always been there since the miniature was first sold. The V cut is angled so that if the foot is pushed forward then it closes well and a little superglue prior to this will sort it. This gives the figure a leaning forward pose (where as before, unless it's my imagination, he is leaning too far back). Thinking about it, I can assume that the leaning forward postion was correct as the pose seems right in aggressively sending someone off. Anyway, this later version is standing up quite straight. The newer mould was created January 2018 so the later castings would have been from this point onwards.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF BUYING THIS LISTING WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE WILL BE UNPAINTED. ANY PICTURES SHOWING ANY PAINTED ITEMS ARE JUST TO CLEARLY SHOW THE DETAIL AND WHAT ANY FINISHED ITEM CAN LOOK LIKE. I'VE DONE THIS BECAUSE OFTEN, ESPECIALLY WITH MINT MINIATURES, YOU CANNOT ALWAYS SEE HOW GOOD THEY ARE UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THEM IN YOUR HAND AND ARE CHECKING THEM OUT WITH THE MARK 1 EYEBALL.

The Vampire Prince Dorian the Lost (team owner) miniature. A useful figure for the Elfball American football style fantasy game or possibly Dreadball although that is a futuristic fantasy football game so perhaps a little conversion needed. If not used as a team player on the pitch, then I can see this miniature as a commentator with a microphone in his left hand or a face/cheek microphone, but I think he'd be useful as any sideline staff such as a coach or referee. This is the original Steve Buddle sculpt that was put forward to Games Workshop for a 5th edition player for the Bloodbowl Vampire team.

LETS BE CLEAR, THIS IS NOT A GAMES WORKSHOP CITADEL BLOODBOWL MINIATURE.

I've put the date as 2011 but the masters used to create the later Vampire Lord models were actually 2002, the first metal castings of this version were made in 2011. This Vampire is the design that was first put forward to Fanatic Games, which was later changed to the Specialist Games Range. Both of which were a division of Games Workshop. Various changes were required by Fanatic, to the Vampire Lord, so the helm was then added and the boots changed. You can see that the boots on this initial version have more of a Dungeons and Dragons feel to them, as you'd find often in the classic Citadel metal miniatures of various ranges. This Lord Dorian miniature has no date or detail on it's slotta. The Citadel 5th edition Vampire set either have 2002 or 2003 on their slottas so I've put the year of this figure as 2002. The Lord Dorian figure still goes very well with the Citadel Bloodbowl team and is a worthy addition to the set. If you are instead going for the GW team, then please be aware that the Games Workshop 2004 Specialist games catalogue shows less than the 2005 Specialist games catalogue? Even the 2005 does not show them all. It is possible that less variants were available early on in release, as the picture of the full team in the earlier catalogue clearly shows. I believe that one of the standard team Vampires in the team is harder to get as he was only available in the booster pack, and not in the main team box. Just to reiterate, this is not a Games Workshop Bloodbowl Vampire miniature, it was NEVER sold by any division of Games Workshop and it is also not a limited edition figure. I've seen it repeatedly sold as a limited edition figure, it isn't.

In conversation with the owner of the IP of this figure, he stated:

"When I purchased the figure, I talked with the original sculptor who sold it to me and he said if I had the ability to get GW to give the figure legitimate status that I could sell it in an unlimited fashion. I convinced GW to use the figure as the official GW prize for playing in one of their official Blood Bowl tournaments in Chicago (the official GW US National tournament). By GW's definition, this made it an official GW BB figure as it was them handing it out. The sculptor agreed and gave me permission after that to produce it without a limited run caveat."

So Games Workshop actually gave it out as a prize for playing in one of their official Blood Bowl tournaments in Chicago (the official GW US National tournament). By GW's own definition, this gave the figure legitimate status and made it an official GW BB figure, as it was Games Workshop handing it out. Due to this, the original sculptor agreed and gave permission after that to produce it without a limited run caveat. In the past it was a limited miniature, but only because there was only one, this being the single resin cast that was initially given to its sculptor Steve Buddle.

Vampires are seen as the toughest team to be able to coach effectively. They are horrifically strong ST 4, supernaturally fast with high agility AG 4 and have great skill access. Vampires also have the Regeneration skill that makes them very resilient and a Hypnotic Gaze that can stun an opponent into immobility making them useless. They also have pretty cheap lineman in the shape of their Thralls. Unfortunately their re-rolls are expensive and they also suffer Bloodlust, otherwise known as Off For A Bite (OFAB). This gives them a propensity for devouring their human slaves. So they can actually turn out to be pretty unreliable and, if you have too many Vampires on the team, can wipe out all your Thralls. You can actually have a mix of up to 6 Vampires on the team and up to 16 Vampire Thralls, but top coaches advise a starting team of up to 3 Vampires, and load up on the re rolls as they don't come cheap later on.

Games Workshop started off with just one Undead based team, but later the Undead spread out into four individual teams, some with elements of each other. This occurred with Warhammer fantasy battle, and was a good move as it really added something to the genre. The four teams were Khemri, Necromantic, Undead and Vampire.

Famous Necromantic teams include the Bruendar Grimjacks, Cushing Hammer and Westside Werewolves. Undead teams are the Acid Bay Shades, Frozen Phantoms, Nightmare Nufflers and the Tombstone Terrors. The Black Widows are known, but were from an earlier ruleset, before the Undead split, and were a Skeletons, Mummies and Troll team. The best known team are the Champions of Death who play in the Pain Park Stadium. Their coach is Tomolandry the Undying and the cheerleaders are called Dem Bonez I'm unsure if this is a  spelling error and it should be Dem Bones). Their team sponsors are the Temple of Morr. Vampire teams are the Black Sabbeths, Craggen Counts and the Streissen Vampires.

I only post to the invoice address. Please read postage, packaging, returns and payment details prior to bidding. Item is in good condition, unless otherwise stated. There may be residual paint on it, all miniatures have been washed to remove any residual chemical paint stripper, but I advise washing in soapy water with a toothbrush prior to painting, due to handling. I'm a collector, and honest seller, with excellent feedback. If there is an issue, then please contact to discuss, prior to leaving poor feedback.
