This 1" medal is truly special - it has a finely detailed and updated image of St Therese of Lisieux on the front; on the back is a Third Class Relic securely encased in a circular resin area with the words - in English! - "Third Class Relic".  All the letters on front and back of the medal are nicely etched into the medal so they are clear and easy to read.  Comes on a 24" stainless steel chain that has no clasp, so it's easy to slip on and off over your head.  Fits most heads.  Medal was made in Italy, and comes gift boxed and with a St Therese of Liseux prayer card plus a gift bag and tissue paper.

The prayer cards are designed and printed in our home as 4 page prayer "booklets" which contain multiple images and prayers.  These are printed on 24 lb paper and measure about 4" x 5".  I enjoy making these cards, and they are better in some ways than mass-produced cards since the print is generally larger than laminated cards and there are more pictures and prayers. 

What a great gift for anyone who admires this saint who taught us to love Jesus in little ways.  She is a great role model for young women and a wonderful source of help for anyone who is sick or in need.  St Therese is also the patron saint of florists, gardeners, loss of parents, aviators and air crews; missionaries and the missions; she is also known to intercede for miraculous cures of the sick, especially those with tuberculosis, AIDS or HIV.
