2-part power "repair" power cable kit for Ham, PMR or CB radios - 12V, max 15A. Universal fit.

Designed to bring power back to radios with missing, damaged or impossible-to-obtain power cables. 

Two parts supplied;

'Radio' part - 300mm power cable with open ends (for direct conection to your radio power input), fuse holder and T-type power plug. This matches with the 

'Power' part - 1.2M cable, open ends (for connection to the power source), terminated in a T-type socket.

To use, connect the radio part directly onto the power input of your rig (will probably involve soldering the connection), pass the lead back through radio case (secure it with the cable ties supplied, if necessary). Install the appropriate fuse (see below). Connect the power lead to the power source and plug the T connector together.

Cable uses the standard 'T'-type 12V connector with the +ve lead horizontal and a 30mm fuse.

With the kit you will get;

2-part power cable with T connectors and 30mm fuse holder

2 cable ties

3 fuses:-

3A (or 3.15A) - for 5W radios (CB, low power ham sets)

10A - for 25W radios

15A - for 50W radios (the max current capability of the lead is 15A and 12V - DO NOT EXCEED THIS RATING)

Please note that installation of this kit will require modification of your radio, which may invalidate any guarantee you have. If you reverse the connections, you may damage your rig. We will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by incorrect use or installation. Cable lengths and fuse ratings are nominal.
