The fabric is quality constructed 3-ply (fabric upper class as everyone at the Golf 4, Mercedes, Porsche, BMW or even Audi has already seen: the rubber layer which keeps everything waterproof and the background fabric in a roadster quality) and must never be impregnated.

Industrial processing (see photo left pane). The soft material was cut by computer technology and then processed by standard welding and sewing techniques (of course in Germany).
