This old mansion  is the Manor House of Abbot's Kensington. Holland house was built by Sir Walter Cope in the year 1607. The main entrance to the Holland House is now on the east side of the mansion, and not on the south side, as it was, when Mr. Nash made these drawings; the old entrance Hall has been turned into the breakfast-room. These and other alterations were made by the late Lord Holland.
