This stunning Monet Poppy Field print is a giclee reproduction print created from Monet's oil painting which he completed in 1873.
ABOUT THE WORK:
Claude Monet painted The Poppy Field in 1873 on his return from the United Kingdom (in 1871) when he settled in Argenteuil with his family until 1878. It was a time that provided the artist with great fulfillment as a painter, despite the failing health of Camille.
Paul Durand-Ruel, Monet's art dealer, helped support him during this time, where he found great comfort from the picturesque landscapes that surrounded him and provided him with plenty of subject matter from which to choose. It was a time that Monet's plein air works would develop, and this particular painting was shown at the first Impressionist exhibition of 1874.
This beautifully depicted summer's day is captured in all its glory with the vibrant poppies complementing the wispy clouds in a clear blue sky. In the landscape, a mother and child pair in the foreground and another in the background are merely a pretext for drawing the diagonal line that structures the painting.
Two separate colour zones are established, one dominated by red, the other by a bluish green. The young woman with the sunshade and the child in the foreground are probably the artist's wife, Camille, and their son Jean.

It can be installed on almost any surface and remain adhered in all-weather conditions. Its dependable adhesive can be removed and reused multiple times without any alteration or loss of stickiness.
This material does not shrink, curl, rip or wrinkle in any climate. It can be installed for a day or a decade and upon removal, the manufacturer insures a 99% chance that its adhesive will not leave a sticky residue. The fabric material is Class A or 1 fire rated, non-toxic, green and phthalates free.

This Monet Poppy Field print is offered in three sizes, 4" x 5", 8" x 10", and 16" x 20". I can also produce this print in larger custom sizes. BORDERS:
Our fine art paper and canvas prints are carefully positioned with an approximate 1/8" border on all sides for matting and framing adjustments. This may vary slightly based on the size of print you order and the size of the original image. If you would like a different size border, or need to know the exact border size, or a borderless print, just let me know when you place your order.
Our Peel & Stick prints have no borders and the image will cover the complete area.

I ship worldwide in two business days after receiving your payment. We print your order on day 1, and let it cure for 24 hours, and we ship it on day two. Your prints are protected with Glassine wrapping and shipped in a rigid "Do Not Bend" mailer to ensure it arrives in the same condition as when it was shipped, and for larger sizes, we ship in a sturdy cardboard tube. Your print will arrive safely, or I will replace it.
