This is a magnificent special and unique Holly book from Estate of Princess Shams Pahlavi, Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's older  sister , given to her by Pope John Paul II. Princess Shams was converted to Christianity and therefore was very close to Vatican. This book is signed by Pop and numbered 359 out of 1799. It contains 231 pages, mostly with paintings of Pop John Paul II. The cover of this book is  made of gold on metal. There is a velvet cover with an oval opening  for this large book, which measures approx 14.1" by 20.6" by 4.7". The oval opening measures approx 11.6" by 14.5".
