Explosion Suppressant Foam is a reticulated polyurethane foam and is used in fuel tanks where the possibility of fuel tank explosion exists. Also known as ESF, or Safety Foam, the product was invented in the late 1960s when the United States Air Force began using reticulated polyester polyurethane foam to suppress fires and explosions inside fuel tanks.

Explosion Suppressant Foam has now been used for over 30 years and has found thousands of successful applications in aircraft, boats, military vehicles, competition and emergency vehicles.
Once installed inside the fuel tank the reticulated polyurethane foam essentially functions as a three dimensional fire screen. The foam is 98% void and only reduces fuel volume by 4% and adds only a negligible amount of net weight to the fuel tank.

This item will be supplied in either a 100cm x 46cm x 5cm or a 50 x 46 x 10cm giving it a volume of 23 Litres. Other sizes / volumes are available - Please contact us for details.

For customers ordering from outside of the U.K. there is the potential for import charges including local sales tax, import duty and other fees falling due on or after delivery. The import charges are usually due once the package arrives in the destination country. In certain countries, and in line with local legislation, eBay will collect import taxes from buyers. Shipping:
Orders are usually processed within 1 working day however orders made during weekends, bank holidays and extremely busy periods will be processed and despatched within 2-3 working days. All items are well packed to ensure that they are delivered undamaged.

Items are despatched by courier or Royal Mail depending on weight and value.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATES ARE PUBLISHED BY ebay NOT OURSELVES AND CAN BE A LITTLE OPTIMISTIC WHERE 2ND CLASS POSTAGE IS CONCERNED.

There is no tracking system for regular post or standard airmail services & claims for lost parcels cannot be entered until 20 working (Monday – Friday) days have elapsed.
