CZ505E has a built-in DAB+ tuner that is compatible with both DAB and DAB+ radio broadcasts. Technically these two use different encoding (MP2 for DAB and aacPlus for DAB+) but either way the digital broadcast signal offers CD-quality audio with more purity and reduced noise compared to analogue.
