Here we offer one used Thermo Spectronic Unicam Aquamate Helios Spectrophotometer New Lamps G'teed.

We received this unit in a lot of surplus lab instruments. It powers up perfectly and displays no errors. We lack the ability to test it beyond power up and back up this unit with our 14 day guarantee against DOA. Please note that this guarantee does not cover possible calibration issues nor does it cover possible maintenance issues.

Here are some details:

The unit was purchased new by the client that sent it to us. They told us it worked perfectly except it needed new lamps. They elected to buy a new instrument instead of relamping this unit.

We replaced both the tungsten and the deuterium lamps. We posted a pic of the lamp screen showing the nearly 100% energy and 0 hours on each lamp.

We tested the thermal printer and it does function as it should.

This sale includes the following items:

The Spectronic Unicam Aquamate Helios Spectrophotometer and its power cord.

The original operators manual for the instrument.

Nine extra rolls of thermal printer paper for the printer on the instrument plus the one roll already on the unit.

Two cell holders for different testing procedures.

Three 3.5" floppy discs labeled as containing operating software. We were unable to test these and make no guarantees about their fitness for use or availability of any data they may or may not contain.

Two additional deuterium lamps that came with the unit. The original owner thought they were either bad or near the end of their useful life but we will send them along to the new owner without guarantee or warranty on these bulbs.

The unit is in good used condition. It shows the usual signs of use and wear but nothing that is unusual. There are two light spots on the top of the unit where the former owner's asset tags were affixed to the unit.

The screen has 5 or 6 perfectly straight black lines running across the screen from left to right. These do not interfere with the readability of the screen but are present and must be mentioned. We have taken a closeup of the screen and these lines are visible in that pic.
