In Memory of Pete Bell
Pete was one of Jeff Gordon's biggest fans. Over the years, he attended every race he could as he was a long-haul trucker. When he attended the races, his big purple Kenworth tractor would be decked out in #24 colors, numbers, etc. When other truckers didn't have money to go, Pete would buy their tickets. When he could not attend the races, he would watch it in his truck via broadband or satellite. Those are the times he would call his Mom and they would both watch the race while they were on the phone. Pete's mother still lives and Pete was her baby. She turned 92 on June 6th. She inherited all of his things and the donation of his Jeff Gordon collection to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation is her desire to fulfill his wishes.
