For maximum yields, water regularly and keep the soil moist/watery. They like deep, moist or even swampy soils. They will produce your need all the year round. Taro is native to south-east Asia and well known as a root vegetable for its edible starchy corm, and as a leaf vegetable. Taro corm, stems or leaves always eat cooked. It is believed to have been one of the earliest cultivated plants. The leaves are a good source of vitamins A and C and contain more protein than the corms. It is known by many local names and often referred to as 'elephant ears' when grown as an ornamental plant ^. It can grow up to 1 meter. With some care, Taro plant will last forever & will produce taro continuously as they grow new bulbs every year.       

You are buying 1 small plants between 6-15 inches in height (may be without leaves). I will trim/remove the leaves if it doesn't fit inside the shipping box. The green leaves will come out again when the plant starts growing.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

For Chilli, Eggplant (similar small seeds)
Fill the pot with seed raising mix. Make a small hole in the middle and sow the seed between 8 to 10mm deep. Cover the hole with some soil and spray water gently. Please make sure to keep it moist and always provide them between 22 to 24 degrees of constant heat. For best germination success, please use a heat mat under the pot. Buy a heat mat from eBay and it won't cost you much and will last for a few years. Seeds germinate between 2 to 5 weeks’ time depending on the variety you are growing.

For Gourd, Bean, Melon (similar large seeds)
