Rarer than the C Record model due to the limited years the CdA group was sold. Many prefer this to the C Record model for three differences

(1) Streamlined shape at top of face plate, seamlessly merging into barrel adjuster.

(2) Ease of face plate removal by unscrewing cap beneath barrel adjuster. The C Record model needs lifting of cap which needs some effort when cable is fitted.

(3) External return springs can be easily cleaned and lubricated against the internal springs of the C Record version.
