This is a beautiful example of the Mamiya 55mm tested in X, M and X flash sync all functions work. Did not test M sync.  The lens is very clean only a few more specs of dust than I would expect.  Otherwise the glass is clean and clear. Shutter and aperture dial are smooth.

I bought this from a friend in early November of 2017.  He bought it new with the other 6 lenses made at the time the camera and many of the accessories (available in separate auctions) in 1972.  I saw him use it around 1977.  I shot weddings with the same model in the 80s and 90s but I only had three lenses.  He hasn't used it for about the last 30 years.
