The ZZPerformance turbine shaft is now available in a 4340 Material
Final grinding on the shaft is done after hardening to prevent inconsistencies.
Stock input shafts are weak and almost guaranteed to break when increasing horsepower or running aftermarket heavier wheels
Improvements include:
Radius'd o-ring groove
Shaft thickness has been increased in areas of weakness
Gear play on both sides of the shaft has been reduced
Center ring groove has been improved
Brand new diverter tube
No core charge
4340 shaft is over 2 times the strength of stock and recommend for all supercharged builds or builds with added horsepower or large heavy wheels. The factory one is easily broken especially for hard launches
ZZP input shafts are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship. They are not guaranteed against breakage because we cannot control their use in your vehicle.
