For auction is a Gallet Multichron 45 award watch from 1953 from the University of Omaha for Citizenship (how quaint) in stainless steel with screwback case with gorgeous original three color with a telemetry scale. (Given the military style dial one wonders if the citizenship award recipient was on his way to Korea?). An incredible find and a fine addition to any serious collection.

Case: STAINLESS STEEL with domed stepped bezel, faceted lugs, round puhsers, screwback case with original engraving, nice overall condition but case upper was brushed at some point (case back does appear unpolished)
Dial: TROPICAL likely started out silver but turned into a COPPER color that is absolutely gorgeous, red inner snail tachymetric scale with another outer telemetric, blued leaf style sword hands, original lume has aged to a craggy effect but hands/dial lume match and are all present..the only hurt is a very small patch of lacquer loss next to 'Swiss' above the 6 o'clock marker that is not all noticeable when worn but the macro lens might blow up the defect to be worse than what it is...overall the dial is a stunning beauty and reads incredibly well on the wrist
