Up for auction is a very nice Courtois balanced model trumpet in really good shape.The horn comes in raw polished brass. It has been professionally cleaned and is ready to go with all slides and valves working nicely. It does have some minor cosmetic issues. There was some work done on the bell flair that left some very light wrinkle lines, but not major at all. It also has a few very small dings/dimples down the bell, but again nothing major at all. This horn is very similar to the Selmer 23A/24A balanced action trumpet as you can see. It has a large bore and a 5 inch bell and plays great! It comes with it's original case, but the case is in fair shape. It also comes with a tuning slide rod, but the rod is slightly bent and the threads rub on one of the holes. It's not really needed to play the horn so I left it off. Horn does not include a mouthpiece. This is a really nice collector or player horn.
