This is a pre-revolutionary French Indian war map, which focuses on the territorial claims of France and Great Britain.

This map presents the eastern seaboard of North America from Canada south to the Florida Peninsula, and from the eastern coastline to just west of the Mississippi River.

Large cartouche in the lower right corner presents the Title with the "Description du Canada" just below. Four distance scales are found in the decorative cartouche just to the left of the Title cartouche; "Mille d’Italie," "Grandes Lienes de France- a 20 au Degre’," "Lienes communes de France" and "Journees des Savages."

This map comes with a white border around the image
