Up for sale, a clean and fairly rare Pentax screw-mount 500mm f4.5 telephoto lens. Cosmetics look very good, there is one small paint chip on the exterior but generally this guy looks great. Optics look excellent, no fog or dust I can detect. Mechanics are good with one issue to report. The focus mechanism has a slight wobble in relation to the optical group. If you see the last picture the wobble lies between the two knurled rings shown. I have read online that this requires the tightening of 3 screws that are internal to the focus mechanism. The lens will require repair to be 100% though one could probably use it as it sits until repairs have been made. I can't imagine shooting with this thing, it is a beast. Would look great in the curio case of a Pentax collector. Includes caps.
