Welcome to  Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a nice Tramp Art oak hanging cabinet with glass door and carved decoration. The cabinet is made of American oak with a medium stain with carved rope around the door with the front and both sides decorated with carved details. The cabinet was most likely carved by migrant unemployed workers during the Depression years, and is an excellent example of American Tramp Art from the early 20th Century. The door hinges are tight and the door opens and closes properly. There is a brass front handle that turns to lock the door in place and two hooks attached at the top back corners to hang the cabinet on the wall.

Dimensions:  15" high (at back), 7 5/8" wide and 5 2/8" deep. Weighs 3.5 pounds.

Condition:  Cabinet is in exceptionally good condition for its age. There are a few minor no-harm flaws in the wood from normal use but nothing to detract from the appearance of this nice cabinet.
