Rod Wrapper Dryer Combo.. Prefered by Fly Fishermen.. friction chuck.. 18 rpm#11

I make these Rod Wrapper Dryer Combos in my shop and have been for 13 years since the VA said I could no longer work. I make them out of raitta pine from New Zealand it is a handsome looking wood with no knots. The wrappers have a base platform as shown with 2 adjustiable rod stands that slide on the base in a slot in the base, a thread carriage which holde 2 spools of thread, A Flex Coat thread tensioner and two  thread tension posts......this lets you use one tensioner to control two spools of thread and works quite well. The Rod Dryer comes with either an 15-18 rpm motor or a 5-6 (the reason for the 15-18 and 5-6 range is contencient on weither you have 110V or 120V house power ). The dryers come with either one or two dryer stands you will receive what is shown in the picture.  I make three different rod chucks 2 which are based on friction using non maring rubber bands . People have loved this type of chuck espesialy fly rod builders and they prefer the 5-6 speed it allows for a higher epoxy build up you find on most fly rods. These chucks allow you to turn you rod by base tip or ferrel end. You will receive whats shown in the picture. I also have a new 4 point set screw chuck which the 1 piece rod builders seem to prefer, again you will receive whats pictured. If you have any questions please let me know. You will receive hand drawn details on threading the tensioner and how to properly use the friction dryers...........Thanks for Looking .....Ol Bob
