This glamorous ring is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws reflecting only minimal signs of ever being worn. The clear rhinestones and faux colored stones are clean and have nice brilliance.

History:
In the late 19th Century, Austrian jeweler Daniel Swarovski devised a method of attaching a foil back on his high-quality faceted crystals that made them almost indistinguishable from diamonds. Demand was so great for his "stones" that in 1892 he patented a mechanical cutter so he could mass produce his creations. His faux gems became popularly known as rhinestones and although most rhinestones are associated with clear glass, they can impersonate almost any natural stone a jeweler wished to imitate. Most of the famous fashion jewelry designers of the day used these Swarovski rhinestones in their jewelry creations.
