Calendula herb is a bright yellow or orange flower that is sometimes referred to as pot marigold. This beautiful flower is not just perfect for decorating the garden bed, but can be used to care for the body. In fact, this herbs can be useful for creating all kinds of skin care recipes. 

Calendula extract has a warm scent reminiscent of its flowers. Calendula is a popular ingredient in skin care due to its suitability for most skin types. Restorative, high in vitamin C and anti-inflammatory in nature, it is useful in soothing sores and skin irritations

Our Calendula Extract is made from natural calendula flower, glycerin and aqua. Extract derived from the plant commonly known as pot marigold or Calendula officinalis, there are researches showing that calendula extract has properties that help to restore dry skin, giving the skin back its suppleness and youthful glow.

If you have ragweed (or similar plant) sensitivities, topical application of calendula is not recommended.

Application: General purpose, suits most cosmetic applications; Suncare products; Shave products; Soap (bar & liquid); Creams, lotions, body butters (oil & water emulsions for body & face); Cleansers (gel & creams); Hair products.

Usage Guide: 1-6%. If adding more than one type of extract, use up to 6% in total.
