Up for auction is a beautiful censored cover from Adolf Stern in Wurzburg, Germany to max Hecht in New York City USA. In excellent condition but shows wear. Priced to sell.  Postmarked September 16, 1941. The sender is Jewish and under the Nuremburg laws was forced to add "Israel" to his name. Many Jews attempting to flee the Nazi regime were writing friends and relatives in the USA in a futile attempt to find refuge here. Rare Judaica postal history cover.
