Early 1900's Japanese lacquered postcard album - Concertina type with 24 postcards including 2 hand painted

One addressed and dated with stamp 1905

Black lacquered album with Mount Fuji in the background and two figures in a boat - a man and a women with inlaid bone heads.

Condition: Wear to lacquered boards - slight damage to some of the paper corners that hold the postcards - 24 cards which are slightly grubby with scuff damage to 1 - (see pictures) - 2 are hand painted cards - 1 has been written on and addressed and posted within England. -

Dimensions: 6 1/4" high x 4 1/4" wide x 1" thick - 57 3/4" long fully opened including boards.

Overall nice example of an Edwardian collection of Japanese postcards with one bearing an English stamp  and ink stamped "Plaistow 4.15pm Ja. 4 05" which would be a great addition to any postcard collection.
