Tibetan zee / dzi bead earrings. Black & white. Sterling silver 925.Handmade.

Description:

This is a pair of Tibetan bead earrings.

The main beads are Tibetan dzi (zee) beads. I bought them in Bodhgaya in India (Bodhgaya is the  town in India where the Buddha was enlightened). I bought them from a Tibetan trader who had traveled down from Tibet for some teachings by the Dalai Lama. These are very nice dzi beads with a really good finish. (Please not they are new, not antique).  I have made them into earrings using sterling silver wire. The ear hooks are also sterling silver (925).

The beads are 1.5 cm long.  The earrings are 3.4 cm (just over 1.25") from the top of the hooks.

I have designed these earrings and put them together with my own hands. I have been making my living exclusively from designing and  making jewellery for 9 years. I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England,  I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusual jewellery.

Every item will be sent beautifully packaged in a cotton gift bag made especially for me by a women's self help group in India.
