Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE!

This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver oval serving tray made by Towle in the LOUIS XIV pattern. The Louis XIV flatware pattern was issued in 1924 and discontinued in 1996. The design features a decorative band around the outside rim with an engraved design on the flattened band around the shoulder area and six beautiful floral designs in swag medallions around the interior serving area. In the center bottom is a fancy monogram "B". Marked "Louis XIV, Patented Dec.23.1919, By Towle" with the Towle trademark stamp and "Sterling, 9810".

Measures 3/4" high, 10 3/4" long and 7 3/4" wide. Weighs 255 grams.

This nice tray is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no major flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear (faint scratches and a faint dent on center bottom).

We also have a 14" oval tray and a vegetable bowl in this pattern purchased from the same Estate with the same "B" monogram available in our eBay Store, so please check out our other great items.
