This is Technics' ultimate preamp. Made to order only and for the Japanese market exclusively. Class AA is used throughout including phono preamp. All switching is performed by nitrogen filled, gold plated contact relays. I could go on and on but I assume most people would just google this info anyway. This preamp is quite simply one of the most sophisticated pieces of stereo equipment I've ever used.

The volume potentiometer is the one and only Alps RK50, which by itself costs over $1000 dollars!

The preamp works great. This preamp is capable of AC and D.C. operation although the battery doesn't hold charge anymore. This was never a big deal for me so I never replaced it.

It has some shallow, surface scratches on the top. The wood side panels are not original but look great. See pictures.

This preamp is 100v so you will need a step down transformer. Available anywhere online for around $25.

I try to be as detailed as possible describing the items I put up for auction but if you feel like something is not clear or have questions feel free to message me.

The inside pic was grabbed from the internet to show internal construction. Sale is final and no returns. Understand you are not buying a new SU C7000. If you were, you'd be paying five figures.
