This drama - sponsored by Westinghouse - features a typical middle class
family from the midwest and examines the ideas of consumption and capitalism.
The film shows the contributions of free enterprise and technology and
the benefits that they give to modern living. The drama comes in as the
film contrasts the ideas and goodness of capitalism against the anti progressive
message of Marxism.
Intertwined within the story is an excellent tour of the marvels on display
in the Westinghouse building in the 1939 New York World's fair. It makes
for an excellent full color tour of this famous portion of the fair.
This film was produced in 1939 by Audio Productions Inc. and has a runtime
of 55 minutes
