This listing is for a Berg Larsen Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece with a 130/0 SMS facing in stainless steel....yup, the same 130/0 everybody wants!

This has been my back-up mouthpiece for many years---and sometimes it was my primary piece.  I bought it used and it is in the same condition as when I first acquired it.

According to the Theo Wanne website's "Mouthpiece Museum", it was made most likely produced in the 1970's.  The table is flat and even and symmetrical...which has not been true of all of the current production models I've tried. There are slight signs of usage:  some light scratching from ligature use, and some light scratching on the bite plate (visible in the photos) but no tooth indentations!
It plays very evenly from top to bottom with a wide array of different reed cuts, and has the typical amount of even resistance built into all good Bergs.  The tone is the sparkly upper register and fat, juicy low end for which these mouthpieces are known (ala Pete Christlieb, who uses one of these).  Altissimo playing is also a breeze on this piece (ala Lenny Pickett, who also plays one of these).
I'll include a Rovner Light Ligature and the original Berg Larsen mouthpiece cap.

I'm offering free, insured shipping by USPS Priority Mail.  International orders will be sent via the EBay Global Shipping Program.
