Vintage Shure 565SD Unisphere I Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone, USA

You are looking at a fully functional, excellent sounding vintage Shure 565SD Unisphere I cardioid dynamic vocal microphone.  The 565SD is renowned as a vocal microphone, and is the predecessor to the Shure SM58.  This is a 100% authentic Shure 565SD vintage microphone.  This Shure 565SD was made in the USA before Shure started manufacturing their microphones in Mexico (1984).  Many people prefer the sound of the original Made in the USA Shure dynamic microphones to their Mexican made cousins.  The 565SD can be configured for low or high impedance output, and is currently set for low impedance, balanced output.  This microphone is very clean for it's age, with a small amount of pitting/tarnishing.  The ball head on the 565SD is in superb condition (see photos), and the internal foam pop filters have been replaced (they deteriorate with age).  This auction includes the Shure 565SD microphone and original Shure A25D swivel stand adapter.  The Shure 565SD spec sheet is posted in the photos above.

Here is info from Shure:

The predecessor to the SM58®, The 565SD Classic Unisphere® I Vocal Microphone is a dual-impedance, unidirectional dynamic microphone famous for its spot on the Woodstock stage.

It features highly effective wind and "pop" filter for vocals and a durable, wire-mesh front grille. The 565SD provides excellent vocal or speech reproduction onstage, and can also be used with public address systems.
