Up for sale is a fantastic sounding 1962 Fender Blonde Bassman 6G6-A head w/ matching 1x12 Tone Ring cab. The blonde Bassman head has always been a personal favorite of mine and this one is quite original and sounds phenomenal, nailing everything from big clean tones to raunchy natural overdrive. The circuit overall is very original including both transformers and choke and most of its original capacitors. The transformer/choke codes are as follows: 606202, 606213, and 606216 all dating to 1962. The cab is also stamped July 27 1962. Some caps have been replaced only due to standard maintenance as well as some tubes. The grill on the cab has been replaced and matches the grill on the head exceptionally well. The handles on both the head and cab have been replaced. The speaker in the cab has also been replaced with an era-correct Oxford speaker which is coded 465336 dating to the 36th week of 1963. These things aside, the amplifier is stock-n-sweet and sounds fantastic.
