Offered is a Vintage Royal Haeger Pottery Gold Tweed Glaze Ashtray.  It's marked "Royal Haeger, R 1714S, U.S.A."  This Ashtry is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  There is some "rust" staining on the back that most likely was a result of this ashtray packed away for years against a rusting piece of metal.  (See pics).  I'm sure this can be eliminated with some persistence and patience.  This Gold Tweed glaze matches exactly the Gold Tweed Haeger Cigar Box.  This Ashtray measures about 12" x 8 7/8".  This Mid Century Ashtray screams Atomic!  What a great, vintage Haeger deco Ashtray to add to your collection!
