Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver Art Deco period card case made by A. A. Webster & Co. The case has a scalloped outside border and is decorated with multiple engine-turned designs on the front and back. In center front is a rectangular cartouche with engraved 3-letter monogram. I am uncertain as to the initials contained in the monogram although the third initial is an "M". Case has a hinged top with tight hinge and case opens and closes securely. Marked on the interior edge "A. A. Webster & Co."  Although we did not find a Sterling Silver stamp, the case is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. The A. A. Webster & Co. operated in Brooklyn NY from 1887-1939 and were known as silversmiths, jewelers and opticians.

Measures 3 1/2" long, 2 1/2" wide and 1/2" deep. Weighs 50 grams.

This nice case is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
