Dedicated adapter for Zeiss Contax Sonnar and Tessar 50mm rangefinder lenses to Leica M mount, 6 bit coded, with lens focal length deviation correction, focus up to 0.6 meters / 2 feet.

        Made from solid brass, CNC machined and chrome finish. The helical have the same thread pitch and focus way of the Leica lenses, you will use your Sonnar exactly as a Summilux or Summicron. Spring loaded lens lock mechanism, the small lever must be used for mount and remove the lens.

The actual focal length of a  Sonnar 50mm is in average 52mm, longer than what the RF 

of the camera is  calibrated for, causing back focus at close distance, this was resolved with the non linear movement of the helical and the rangefinder cam. The helical threads are polished one against other using a abrasive paste and lubricated with a colorless high-vacuum silicone grease for a firm and play-free movement.

The Contax mount and Nikon mount differ in the distance to the focal plane, for that reason is unable to use Contax lenses on a Nikon adapter or a Nikon lens on a Contax adapter.

Some Nikon lenses are marked "C" and must be used on Contax adapter.
