A Repair Manual in .pdf format emailed to you to repair ABS Pump Motors, fitted to many VW, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Ford, Vauxhall, Mazda, Renault and other vehicles with ABS motor part numbers 10.0212... or 10.0961... etc.

Note: there are no parts supplied in this listing. You will receive a download link to a .pdf repair manual only.

Now you can easily repair common ABS faults yourself, represented by OBD2 fault codes associated with:

'Pump Motor Connector Faulty'

'ABS Module Faulty'

'Hydraulic Unit Pump Motor'

etc...

These codes are usually accompanied by both the ABS and Traction Control warning light on constantly. These codes are telling you that the hydraulic unit pump motor is not working. Over time, the carbon brushes within the motor begin to expand within their carriers (due to resin breakdown) making them seize. The fault codes and warning lights are often intermittent at first as the brushes momentarily free up, but eventually they will get stuck rendering the motor and pump un-usable.

Please NOTE: This repair manual WILL NOT show you how to repair Pressure Sensor, ABS Sensor or Wheel Speed Sensor/Ring related fault codes. These instructions are designed to show you how to fix your ABS module if your dealer has told you that you need a new one.

The .pdf shows you in less than 20 steps how to repair these faults. We also sell a repair kit* which contains replacement upgraded brushes to last the life of the vehicle, a new bearing, blanking plugs for the brake line ports and cotton buds for cleaning. Please see our other items.

These are basically the same parts that a professional refurbishment service would replace. Do it yourself for a fraction of the cost.

*Note: you do not need to purchase this Repair Manual .pdf Download if you purchase the Repair Kit, as this kit comes complete with a paper copy of the Repair Manual.

We have developed this manual ourselves through trial and error. Having serviced dozens of these units we have enough experience to be able to guide you through refurbishment on your own. You are also buying our expertise and we will answer your questions to the best of our knowledge.

Please do not be tempted to replace your carbon brushes with standard cheap inferior grey carbon brushes found in hand drills and hoover motors etc. Using inferior cheap brushes will not generate the motor performance required for the hydraulic pump, or the required rapid start speed for ABS to kick in when you lose traction.

Note that this is not an official repair manual being offered by any of the manufacturers of the components.
