Note: The XD1 includes basic installation accessories. For any size pump, we recommend you purchase this heater with a bypass kit (included). This allows you to divert your pool water away from the heater at night or on cool days, as well as control the volume of flow (the slower the water passes through the heater, the more effective it will heat the water). Using any solar heating device during cold temperatures effectively cools your pool water. This item CANNOT be mounted on a roof.
