THE BEST OF ABBOTT AND COSTELLO - LIVE

An hour of long-unseen vintage comedy from the duo's live appearances - unseen for nearly 35-years!!

VHS - PAL - NEW - Never played!! - PG-rated - Black-and-White - 1995-release - 58-minutes - Comedy, Stand-up - Original VHS release in Australia - Large box

This is a must have for people who love comedies and Abbott and Costello.

Some of my favorites on this video is:

...where Costello is trying to sing "A Pretty Girl is Like a Melody" with Abbott telling the guys in the background to raise or lower the curtains. Instead, Costello, thinks Abbott is trying to coach him how to sing.

...when Costello tries to get Abbott to join the Round-Up Club, except that the joke is when Abbott is supposed to say "Give it to me", Costello spits out milk onto him.
The thing is, Abbott knows what's going on and he himself gets some milk...

...when Abbott is trying to explain to Costello that, "Who is on first base, What's on second base, and I Don't Know is on third base."

...when Costello proves by multiplication, division, and addition that 7 times 13 is 23. Yes, it's true, you'll have to watch it to belive it!

And there's so much more that can't be missed!!

This is an essential Abbott and Costello video for A & C fans.

The routines they include are the best versions of their classic routines I've ever seen.

And I own and have watched multiple times nearly every single one of their movies and t.v. series.

I particularly liked the "drill" bit, and the initiation into the round-up club.

I have been yearning for this to be released in dvd format and hope they will do that soon.

In the meantime, if you are an A & C fan and still have a VHS player, I highly recommend you purchase this video.
