Kupferstich eines unbekannten Künstlers, nummeriert oben: "121", bezeichnet unten in Blei: "Afrikanisches Reiselager (aus [.]Lichtanstalt Reiser 1801-1806)". Vor den Zelten des Reiselagers wird beratschlagt, über einem Feuer gekocht und im Vordergrund ein Wagen abgeladen. Eines der Zelte unterscheidet sich in Form und Größe von allen anderen: Hier sitzen vor dem Eingang einige Männer um einen Tisch. Wird hier die Reiserute des nächsten Tages festgelegt?
