Model number of tractor this came off of is: 917.255933 (which is NOT the model number of the switch, I couldn't find a model number for the switch itself).
I gathered from looking at other ads that the tractor I have is a "GT" ... please inquire if you are not sure if this will fit your machine!
3 position, 3 terminal ignition switch, I am sure it is somewhat generic and would work for alot of other machines. Terminals are labeled: BAT ACC, ST and IGN ... checked with a continuity tester, in the on position, there is continuity between BAT and IGN, in the start position, there is continuity between the BAT and ST terminals.
PLEASE NOTE: ITEM IS AS SHOWN, THE RETAINING NUT IS NOT INCLUDED (IT GOT LOST). 3/4 is stamped on the part, so I believe that means it fits a 3/4 panel/mounting hole (and the threaded part measures 3/4 of an inch).
