Up for auction is this stunning four piece, stacking tea pot set. It is an amazing Royal Nelson tea pot, pattern name "Rose Time", by Lord Nelson. This is a rare and unusual find. I have had this tea pot for years. It was giving to me by a dear friend. She only used it a couple of times. I am the second owner of this tea pot. I have never used it.
It has no chips or cracks and only minor crazing commensurate with age. It is very beautifully decorated with a Rose Chintz pattern of shades of pink, rose, yellows, creams and purples. It has gilted edges with accents on the handles. Truly the pictures do not do this beauty justice. There are no stains on this gorgeous piece of vintage china. It is in "like new" condition. Please feel free to ask questions. I want it to go to a good home. The stamp on the bottom also reads BCM, Royal Nelson Made in England. Not sure what BCM stands for. A wonderful fellow Ebayer informed me that BCM (British Commercial Monomarks) were use on goods along with an identifying name to uniquely identify the manufacturer and provide a method of correspondence. Only a small number of pottery companies used the BCM system.
