Signed Tressemann & Vogt Limoges Hand Painted Gilt Cup & Saucer – circa 1885

Measures approximately 2 5/8” high (cup on the saucer) and the saucer measures approximately 5 3/8” in diameter.

Excellent overall condition – no chips, cracks or repairs with the exception of some very faint hairline cracks on the underside of the saucer - see photo 11.

The history of the Tressemann & Vogt began in the early 1880s, but the name Vogt was associated with porcelain from Limoges for many years before Tressemann joined the company in 1880.

Signed on the underside of the cup with the green ‘T & V’ mark and a blue beehive mark.  The saucer only has the blue beehive mark – see photos.
