GIFT WORTHY



     In November of 2000 I went to Russia with the Patch Adams "Healing thru Humor" clown group to visit hospitals, nursing homes and orphanages.  And, of course, we visited lots of great restaurants, museums, shops, etc., etc., etc.  I will be listing on ebay several various kinds of Russian items that I brought back including dolls (cloth and stacking), hats, eggs, stamps, hand painted items, and more. 
     The last two photos show my I.D. badge (like a clown in a clown group would need an I.D.!) and a quilted fabric panel of the planet that I labeled "Global Warming Blanket" and had all the clowns and Russian people sign.  Just wanted to share those photos.
     This solid wood egg measures right at 3 inches in height, has a big eyed (Blythe?) Russian girl wearing a very shiny turquoise aqua blue babushka that looks like foil.  The egg is hand painted and a lot of it looks like rosemaling.  REALLY nice detail everywhere.  It has a flat bottom so it will sit by itself.  I have not seen one like this ornament that I purchased in Moscow in 2000.  It's been packed away since it moved to Iowa.  Pristine condition.
