FANTASTIC SIGNED VILLEROY & BOCH METTLACH BEER STEIN - ROYAL KING DRINKING BEER - CIRCA 1899

Measures approximately 8 ½” high (to the top of the thumb tab) by 4 1/8” in diameter at the base.

Excellent original condition – no chips, cracks or repairs.  The thumb grip is slightly bent – see photos.

The German inscription (it seems to be a dialect from Luxembourg) on one side reads:

But who does not love a good glass of beer

He is even more stupid than me

Other side:

Who does not love wine, women, singing

He remains a fool his whole life
