Offered here is an antique Plate by Samuel Alcock &Co.  

It has impressed Alcock &Co. marks 

It features traditional Victorian Imari scenic transfers with flowers in red and cobalt blue

It measures 9 1/4" in diameter.


The plate is in very nice condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.

Glazing is clear and bright, with almost no crazing that is unusual for its age (see pics). The plate has some manufacturing underglaze defects that are consistent with this very early antique piece 

A super addition to any collection and a wonderful large display piece.


Exceptional collector’s piece. Would have a place in any china collection.
